Consistent with its corporate objective of promoting the science and practice of electrical and electronics engineering, the IEEE Victorian Section is pleased to offer limited financial support to IEEE Victorian Section student member authors wishing to present accepted papers at IEEE or approved non-IEEE conferences.

RISC Trivia Quiz and Luncheon
The RISC Trivia Quiz and Luncheon held on Thursday the 24th of April at RMIT building 10 level 7 room 27 from 12:00 - 2pm was quite a lot of fun and offered students a chance to network with each other in a relaxed and entertaining environment.
A total of three quizzes were provided and attending students split up to form three groups.
Surprisingly each group won a quiz a where awarded with an abundance of chocolates and lollies.
The pizza was much appreciated by all!

Small Technologies Cluster
RMIT IEEE was invited to visit the Small Technologies Cluster in Scoresby. The tour focused on micro/bio/nano technology.
Telstra Visit
RISC and The Melbourne University Student Chapter invited students for a visit to the Telstra Research Laboratories and the Global Operation Centre on May 10,2005. This successful field trip followed the successful visit to NEC last year.
AGM (Annual General Meeting)
The election for choosing the committee members for the year 2005-06 were conducted successfully on May 16,2005.
